Hardcore Mode
You only live once
Hardcore Mode offers an entirely different way to experience World of Warcraft. In this optional gameplay mode, the stakes are significantly higher, as your character has only one life. If you die, there is no possibility of resurrection. This mode, with a mandatory x1 Experience Rate, encourages a more cautious playstyle, necessitating careful selection of leveling routes and strategies to survive. Prizes are linked to Hardcore Mode, so play are encouraged to stay updated via our Discord for more information.
Raids
To maintain the integrity of Hardcore Mode, several measures ensure complete separation from Non-Hardcore gameplay:
Special Identification
Hardcore characters are marked with a unique flag and have an annotation by their name for easy identification.
Restricted Interactions
Hardcore characters cannot interact with Non-Hardcore characters in several ways. They are barred from participating in PvP with them, joining their groups or raids, and trading with them.
Hardcore Auction House
These characters have access to a special Hardcore-only Auction House.
Dungeon and Raid Restrictions
Hardcore characters cannot be boosted inside dungeons or raids; there must be a maximum level difference of five between characters in a dungeon or raid group.
No Assistance from Non-Hardcore Characters
If a Hardcore character tags a mob, Non-Hardcore characters cannot attack it, nor can they provide healing or buffs to the Hardcore character.
No Item Shop / Account-Wide Mounts
Your Hardcore character is completely separate from your other characters and cannot benefit from anything that can be purchased with money (only Transmogrification is possible), and bonuses such as Weekend Bonus or Ancestral Wisdom don’t work on a Hardcore character.
Hardcore Announcements
Players will see death and level 60 / 70 / 80 level up announcements in game chat. To toggle it, write `.hc announce [on/off]`
These rules ensure a uniquely challenging and fair gameplay experience for those who choose to embark on the Hardcore Mode journey.
