We offer players the chance to level up at an accelerated pace with a x3 Experience Rate (reduced above level 80). We believe that Cataclysm means Cataclysm, and all players are offered a free level skip from level 60 to level 80, to stay out of Outland and Northrend if they wish. Combined with optional XP Boost, free XP Weekends, and Ancestral Wisdom, leveling on Maelstrom is a breath of fresh air in the world of Cataclysm servers.

This feature is now almost everywhere, but did you know that it was born on Whitemane? Racial Shift allows you to swap your set of racial abilities to those of another race. There are some limitations though: you cannot swap to a race that cannot be your class, for example a Night Elf Druid cannot shift to Orc racials, as Orcs cannot be Druids. Each time you reach level 85, all your characters receive a stack of Ancestral Wisdom. This boosts your Experience and Reputation gains by 15%. The more characters you have at maximum level, the larger the bonus becomes. For example, if you have 3 characters at level 85, you’ll enjoy a +45% bonus to both XP and reputation. This fantastic feature aids in leveling up any class you desire, and it combines seamlessly with all other bonuses!

Transmogrification is fantastic, but its limitations can stifle your creativity. At Maelstrom, we introduce an innovative feature: Limitless Transmogrification. This allows you to alter the appearance of your items regardless of their armor type or weapon slot. Coupled with a system that records every appearance you’ve discovered, you have the freedom to create a character that looks precisely as you envision.

Solo Queue in the 3v3 Arena will take the place of the previous 5v5 system, and team ratings will be discontinued. Instead, emphasis will be placed on Personal Rating. Arena Teams will no longer exist; you’ll register with your party members directly. For those dedicated to PvP and not interested in leveling, the Path of War offers an instant level-up to 85 for PvP characters. This option confines you to a dedicated PvP zone and provides starting PvP gear, allowing immediate engagement in combat.
